We are looking for a Medior Full-Stack Software Engineer specializing in Python & Reactto to temporarily replace one of our consultants.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance two multi-tier applications with backend written in Python, using Flask, FastApi, Kafka and frontend in React
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide regular updates, and ensure the successful adoption of the applications within the organization.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Profile

• Proven experience in full-stack development using Python (backend frameworks like FastAPI and Flask), Kafka and React (including React Admin for frontend).
• Strong skills in designing, developing, and deploying full-stack applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
• Experience in project ownership, including gathering stakeholder requirements, leading development, and ensuring successful delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience in stakeholder management, mentoring team members, and presenting demos to diverse audiences.
• The ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and make strategic decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge and experience in application development in in Python, using Flask, FastApi, Kafka and React.
• Prior experience working on data-centric applications or projects.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based application deployment.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Proficient in English, knowledge of French/Dutch is a plus.
